The Challenge

This transformation story demonstrates how a standardized operating model can revolutionize performance across a distributed network. The journey began with a 3-week diagnostic across 3 regions that revealed no standard operating model existed. From this insight, a rapid prototype of a Target Operating Model was developed and piloted across all regions.

The Methodology

Following pilot success, an agile rollout was executed to multiple quarries. Key to success was the employee engagement program for cost-saving ideas, combined with management training & coaching on Active Management. A governance model with benefits tracking ensured sustainability of improvements.
